BRENHAM OIL & GAS CORP. PROVIDES UPDATE ON THE COMPANY’S

TORTIOUS INTERFERENCE LAWSUIT AGAINST TGS-NOPEC AND ENI

Houston & Kemah, Texas – October 31, 2011, Brenham Oil & Gas Corp., OTCBB: BRHM ("Brenham"), a 54% owned subsidiary of American International Industries, Inc., OTCBB: AMIN ("American"), announced today that the 189th District Court in Harris County, Texas has issued a Docket Control Order in the Company’s tortious interference lawsuit against TGS-NOPEC and ENI concerning the Block 2 deepwater concession in the Republic of Togo in West Africa. Discovery is currently ongoing in the case, and the District Court has set July 23, 2012 as the trial date on the Docket Control Order.
